Since 1995, we have been designing solutions that keep the world moving.

The idea of founding a company specialising in solenoid valves stemmed from a deep passion for mechanics and innovation, combined with the opportunity to enter a market with specific and fast-growing needs. That’s how, in 1995, Massimo Cremascoli founded FIM Valvole, with the aim of providing high-quality, highly customisable solutions for various industrial sectors.
Production activities began in 1996, and the early years were intense: the initial core of FIM Valvole consisted of a small team with big ambitions, working mainly on behalf of third parties. From the outset, the company adopted the innovative and efficient mindset that still defines it today. Thanks to well-judged technological investments and strategic market decisions, FIM has continued to grow, becoming a benchmark in both the national and international markets over the past thirty years.

A particularly significant moment in the company’s history was the acquisition of its first thermoplastic presses and the investment in winding machinery and technologies for solenoids. This milestone marked a turning point, enabling FIM to produce in-house the components needed to assemble its solenoid valves. It was a crucial step that allowed the company to define its identity and evolve from an assembler into a true manufacturer.
With transparent management and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, expanding beyond national borders happened naturally-though it was no less rewarding. Another key moment, and one of great pride, was during the Covid-19 pandemic, when FIM contributed by producing solenoid valves designed for use in ventilators-delivering, in just a few weeks, quantities that would normally be produced over the course of an entire year.

All goals and milestones have always been achieved thanks to the commitment and dedication of the entire FIM Valvole team.

The goals for the future are to maintain and strengthen our position as a market leader, continuing to invest in making the company increasingly technological and cutting-edge, while engineering both processes and products.
The transition to Industry 5.0 is gaining momentum, and the path forward is clear: the future lies in digitalisation and the pursuit of increasingly efficient, eco-friendly, and sustainable solutions.
To achieve these objectives, the Technical Office and the Quality Department work closely with the Production Departments to develop and test new materials and products, and to properly implement available innovations.

30 Years of Milestones

1995

Massimo Cremascoli founds FIM Valvole with the ambition to offer high-quality solenoid valves for a technical market experiencing rapid growth and a strong demand for customisation.

1996

The first patent is filed, confirming the company’s commitment to protecting innovation and strengthening its technological identity from the very beginning.

2000

FIM Valvole launches its first independent production line, marking the transition to a fully autonomous manufacturer with increasingly advanced in-house expertise.

2005

ISO certification is obtained, recognising the company’s commitment to quality and structured production processes, and opening up opportunities in the most demanding markets.

2010

FIM achieves full market independence by building an international distribution network.

2014

Acquisition of U.L. certification, internationally recognised as a guarantee of safety and quality, and launch of a dedicated production line for electric vehicle (E.V.) valves.

2018

The company begins its digital transformation journey, a strategic step towards Industry 4.0 involving systems, processes, and people.

2020

During the pandemic, FIM responds to the emergency with an extraordinary production effort, manufacturing in just a few weeks life-saving ventilator valves for hospitals.

2021

FIM obtains Atex and IECEx certifications, enabling the marketing of products designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

2025

FIM celebrates 30 years of activity with its eyes on the future: continuity, innovation, and sustainability to remain a key player in an ever-evolving global market.
